Kirsten Wallace

Senior Podiatrist

Since qualifying at Queen Margaret University back in 2016, I have been honing my skills in private practice ever since.

I’m a local from Edinburgh where I sometimes enjoy (and don’t enjoy) watching my team play football – you’ll have to guess which unlucky side I support. Despite not being able to sing well, I love going to gigs and festivals when I can and I’m happy listening to pretty much anything.

Through my time as a podiatrist I’ve come to love certain things in practice. As well as dealing with ingrown toenails, nail surgery in particular is one of my specialties and favourites to carry out due to the amount of pain relief it can offer people.

With newer technology, I also carry out treatments for verrucas with our Swift machine as well as dealing with fungal nail infections through sessions with our laser. Dermal fillers to assist with the treatment of painful lesions are one of the things we offer here too that I now work with as well as other new techniques for different problems.
